Tyson Fury calls out Ryan Reynolds with boxing star eager for revenge

Tyson Fury has challenged Ryan Reynolds to a fight after Wrexham hammered Morecambe 6-0 on Saturday.

Paul Mullin netted a hat-trick for the Welsh club, with an own goal from Joel Senior and further strikes from Jacob Mendy and James Jones giving them all three points.

Fury is from Morecambe and, understandably, didn’t take the result well.

And the 35-year-old has now challenged Reynolds, who co-owns Wrexham, to a fight with the Gypsy King eager for revenge.

Tyson Fury has seemingly made it clear he’d love a fight with Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool character

Taking to social media, Fury shared a picture created by those who run the social media account for his Furocity drink.

The image in question consisted of mocked up images of both Fury and Reynolds’ famous Marvel character, Deadpool.

It also included Morecambe and Wrexham’s badges, along with the question: “Who would win in a fight?”

And Fury, by sharing the message on Instagram, has seemingly made it clear he’d be up for the battle.

The Briton previously said in September that he’d call out Reynolds when Morecambe and Wrexham lock horns.

He’s now been as good as his word, though an actual fight between the pair is unlikely to ever happen.

Fury is currently preparing for his upcoming showdown with Oleksandr Usyk.

The two men will step into the ring on February 17, two months later than originally planned.

Fury had been hoping to face Usyk in Saudi Arabia on December 23, with a huge night of boxing planned.

Yet with the 35-year-old needing more time to recover from his recent win over Francis Ngannou, it’s now been pushed back.

Fury has, meanwhile, insisted boxing fans should enjoy him while they still can – hinting that retirement isn’t too far away in the process.

“Just remember the days of Tyson Fury and enjoy them,” he said in a short video that was uploaded on Instagram.

“Because when they’re gone, they’re gone.

“And you’ll never get them back. There will never be anyone else to come like me.

“And that’s it. So enjoy it.

“But other than that never let anyone try and get you down, because who are they when they’re at home?

“Losers. Anyone who is going to try and slate someone else is obviously a loser.

“And they’re not relevant anyway, which is what I always say.”

He added: “I won when I beat [Wladimir] Klitschko.

“I won when I won my British title, I’ve already won at life.

“There’s nothing some sausage can ever say to make me feel down or bad about myself.

“Some fun facts. Did I go in there and get paid? Yeah?

“Did I get out in one piece? Have I gone back to Morecombe and done the same old s**t I always do?

“Happy days. What some p***k says about me on a camera, I don’t care. I’m about to make a hundred million here.

“I won on that. I won 10 year ago. I’m blessed, whether I’m here fighting or I’m not.

“I’m very blessed by God and I’m thankful to wake up every day and I’m happy.”
