A Highland councillor was caught on camera poised to wash a living room window during a meeting being streamed online.
Glynis Campbell Sinclair was taking part remotely in the City of Inverness Area committee meeting on Monday when she failed to turn her computer camera off after making a point about funding for new schools and the local authority’s dire budget situation.
The Inverness provost was seen holding a cloth in front of the camera and carrying a basin of water to a nearby window during the closing 20 minutes of the nearly three-hour session.
After rearranging a plant and turning a light on, the SNP councillor for Culloden and Ardersier appeared to receive a phone call that brought her running back to the computer.
The camera was then quickly switched off.
Councillor Campbell Sinclair was contacted for comment.
A Highland Council spokesperson said: “It is not appropriate for us to comment on the conduct of councillors.”
