Bev Turner has waded in on the furore sparked by royal author Omid Scobie, who published his bombshell royal book ‘Endgame’ this week.
The author made a series of staggering claims about the royals, suggesting two members of the monarchy raised questions about the skin colour of Meghan and Harry’s son Archie before he was born.
GB News’ Turner called on the royals to show restraint and rise above the claims, before hitting out at the author.
Responding to Carole Malone’s suggestion that the royals should engage with Scobie and deny his claims, she asked: “What would the Queen do?”

“The Queen would say, ‘I’m not engaging with this strange little man’, she may not use that exact same terminology.
“This funny looking, attention seeking little man. They need to rise above it.”
Daily Express political correspondent Sam Lister concurred with the sentiment, adding: “You give him legitimacy if you engage with it.
“All the things that were thrown at the Queen, there were enormous amounts of horrible things thrown at her.
“She stuck to her guns and it worked for her.”
Scobie claims King Charles was left “irritated” by former Prime Minister Boris Johnson over the late Queen’s speech.
The book claims: “Boris Johnson didn’t send over the speech until the very last minute, so an irritated Charles wasn’t given ample time to practice reading it. (‘Johnson has done everything he can to become the most unpopular prime minister the Windsors have ever known,’ an aide said with a laugh.)”
The author also spoke on what the future holds for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, with Scobie claiming the former has been keeping “her head down” to focus on building “her own business”.
Scobie wrote: “…a source said Meghan is building ‘something more accessible…something rooted in her love of details, curating, hosting, life’s simple pleasures, and family’.”
Harry appears to have come to terms with his fractious relationship with his brother and father, according to Scobie: “As Harry later explained to a friend, ‘I’m ready to move on past it. Whether we get an apology or accountability, who knows? Who really cares at this point?’”
Scobie has dismissed reports he is Meghan’s “pal” but there is speculation about whether the Sussexes helped him with Endgame.
Interviewed by the Evening Standard about his book, the journalist was asked who told him about the Prince of Wales barring Harry from flying to Scotland with the royals in Queen Elizabeth’s last hours.
Scobie replied: “There’s enough people around them and in their orbit who know the ins and outs of things.”
